Israeli-American actress Natalie Portman is allegedly preparing to conclude her 11-year marriage with choreographer Benjamin Millepied following accusations of infidelity with a climate activist 21 years his junior. The speculations gained traction after Portman, 42, hinted at the end of their marriage during an interview with WSJ Magazine, where she omitted mentioning Millepied while discussing her life in Paris with their two children.
Portman's solo appearance at the Golden Globes, coupled with recent photos without her wedding ring, further fueled divorce rumors. Reportedly taking time to "process and heal," the actress is contemplating the best approach for the divorce, aiming to navigate it amicably for their children, Aleph, 12, and daughter Amalia, six.
An insider revealed, "Natalie and Benjamin tried to make it work, but she simply could not get past his cheating on her." While divorce is pending, the couple is separated, with Portman residing in Paris, and Millepied continuing to work in the US. They are reportedly prioritizing their children's well-being.
Last year, cheating allegations surfaced, claiming Millepied had an affair with 25-year-old climate activist Camille Étienne. Despite efforts to repair the marriage, the couple faced challenges, with an insider disclosing in August that they were on the outs. Portman, known for her privacy, is committed to safeguarding her children's privacy amid the ongoing situation.
