Chelsea Stuns Aston Villa with 3-1 Victory in FA Cup Clash

Chelsea delivered a stunning performance to secure an unexpected 3-1 victory at Villa Park, securing their spot in the FA Cup Fifth Round and setting up a home match against Championship highflyers Leeds United.

Despite Aston Villa's impressive record of winning 20 of their last 23 home games, they couldn't capitalize on their home advantage tonight. Chelsea took the lead in the 11th minute through Gallagher's composed finish, following a patient buildup.

The Blues' confidence soared after the opening goal, and they extended their lead just ten minutes later. Jackson, making a return, headed home from a Gusto cross after excellent play from Madueke, who troubled Villa throughout the first half.

The second half began much like the first, with Chelsea dominating proceedings. Fernandez sealed the game early in the half with a spectacular free-kick from distance that curled into the top corner.

Although Villa attempted to push back as Chelsea eased off, they struggled to create significant chances. A late goal from Diaby added some tension in the final minutes, but Villa couldn't alter the outcome.

With this defeat, Aston Villa's quest for an FA Cup win against Premier League opponents continues, with their last victory against Liverpool in the 2015 semi-final. Meanwhile, Chelsea aims to make a deep run in a competition they have won eight times in their history.
