Leeds United Stuns Leicester with Late Comeback in Championship Clash

Leeds United produced a stunning comeback to secure a 3-1 victory over Championship leaders Leicester City, extending their winning streak to nine league games. The win also marked a record 33rd straight game without defeat for Leeds across all competitions.

Leicester seemed poised for victory before Leeds' late surge. Substitute Connor Roberts equalized in the 80th minute, followed by teenager Archie Gray's deflected strike moments later to take the lead. Dan James sealed the win with a stoppage-time goal, bouncing off Patrick Bamford and into the net.

Despite Leicester's early lead from Wout Faes' header, Leeds fought back in the second half. Stephy Mavididi and Patson Daka had chances for Leicester, with Daka having a goal disallowed for offside. However, Leeds capitalized on their opportunities to secure a memorable victory.

The win keeps Leeds within six points of Leicester at the top of the Championship table, reigniting their hopes of challenging for the title and securing promotion to the Premier League.
