Dayo Amusa, a prominent Nollywood actress, has publicly objected to the decision to award the 'Best Dressed Female' award to the renowned crossdresser, Bobrisky, at a glamorous movie premiere event in Lagos.
The award, which included a cash prize of N1 million, was presented over the weekend amidst controversy. Bobrisky, known for captivating the public with his fashion choices and persona, was celebrated as the best dressed among the female attendees.
However, critics, including Amusa, have challenged the decision. Amusa took to her Instagram account to share her objections, describing the award as a "mockery of the women present" at the event.
In a video message posted on Instagram, Amusa expressed her dismay, questioning the criteria used by the judges. She suggested that recognizing a crossdresser as the best dressed female undermined the efforts of all the other women who attended the premiere.
