Post Malone Teases Country Pivot with New Song Snippet Featuring Morgan Wallen

Post Malone appears to be making a shift towards country music, teasing fans with a snippet of a new song featuring chart-topping country singer Morgan Wallen. The rapper-turned-rocker/folk-singer posted a 30-second video on Instagram showcasing their collaboration, which includes banjo and spare drum kicks on a mid-tempo tune.

In the video, Malone is seen in a dark room, smoking a cigarette and drinking beer as he enjoys the new track. The song features Wallen singing, "It takes two to break a heart in two," followed by Malone's soulful response, "Baby you blame me, and baby I’ll blame you," leading into a rousing chorus where they sing together, "Don’t act like you ain’t help me pull that bottle off the shelf."

Malone has been hinting at his country era for some time, including a recent post with a snippet of a collaboration with Luke Combs. He has also been leaning into his love for old school country, including covers of Sturgill Simpson and tributes to Toby Keith.

While Malone has not officially announced a full country project, fans can expect to hear him on Taylor Swift's upcoming album, "The Tortured Poets Department," on the opening track, "Fortnight."
