Ghanaian Man Attempts GWR for Longest Stand-a-thon

Patrick Amenuvor, a Ghanaian man, initiated a "Stand-a-thon" on January 14, 2024, with the goal of breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous standing by an individual, intending to stand without sitting for seven days until January 21, 2024.

However, he decided to call off the attempt a few hours after commencing, citing a belief that he may have violated some rules specified by the Guinness World Record.

Amenuvor expressed his intention to review the attempt with his team to rectify any errors and ensure a smoother future attempt. He thanked his supporters and the Ghanaian community for their encouragement, emphasizing that the stand-a-thon is a passionate dream he aspires to fulfill.
