Former roommate Jason Priestley shared insights into Brad Pitt's hygiene habits from their time living together before their Hollywood careers took off. Appearing on the US TV show "Live with Kelly and Mark," Priestley reminisced about the period when three people shared a two-bedroom apartment in a less affluent part of Los Angeles.
Priestley recalled a game they played challenging each other to see who could go the longest without showering. When asked about Pitt's hygiene, Priestley admitted, "Brad wasn't as bad as my other roommate," but confirmed that Pitt often won their showering competition.
Describing the living conditions in his 2014 memoir, Priestley mentioned they survived on ramen noodles, generic beer, and Marlboro Light cigarettes due to financial constraints before their careers took off. The former roommates lost touch as their careers diverged.
This revelation about Pitt's hygiene habits isn't the first, as it aligns with a previous anecdote from the set of "Inglourious Basterds," where Pitt recommended using baby wipes when there's no time for a shower. According to Pitt's co-star Eli Roth, the advice was a practical solution for staying fresh during hectic filming schedules.
