Federal Agents Raid Properties of Sean Combs in Sex-Trafficking Investigation

Sean Combs, the rapper and mogul known as Diddy, is facing legal troubles after federal agents searched his properties in Los Angeles and Miami as part of a sex-trafficking investigation. The searches, conducted by US Department of Homeland Security agents, were part of an investigation by federal authorities in New York. While Combs has not been named as the target of the investigation, it follows numerous sexual assault allegations against him, including accusations of rape and severe physical abuse by singer Cassie, who dated Combs.

Combs, who has denied all allegations, has faced several lawsuits accusing him of rape, sexual assault, physical violence, and revenge porn. In a statement, his attorney called the searches a "gross overuse of military-level force" and said Combs had cooperated with authorities.

The allegations have threatened Combs' business empire and legacy, with more than a dozen companies cutting ties with Revolt, the TV network he co-founded. Combs temporarily stepped down from his role as chair of the company in November. Despite the allegations, his attorney maintains that there has been no finding of criminal or civil liability and that Combs is innocent and will continue to fight to clear his name.
