Kanye West has declared himself the only Greatest of All Time (GOAT) in the midst of the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. The rapper took to Instagram to assert that he has "washed" both Drake and Kendrick Lamar in the past.
In his post, Ye claimed that he "washed" Kendrick Lamar on The Life of Pablo song "No More Parties In LA." He further stated that he "washed" Drake at their benefit concert advocating for the release of Larry Hoover.
Additionally, Ye used the post to highlight his influence in the fashion industry, mentioning that Virgil Abloh, Fear of God founder Jerry Lorenzo, designer Kim Jones, and Balenciaga creative director Demna "all worked for me."
Ye's post comes in the wake of Kendrick Lamar's provocative verse on Future and Metro Boomin's "Like That," where he took aim at both Drake and J. Cole with the lyrics "Motherfuck the Big 3, n***a, it's just big me." This verse has ignited a significant rift in the hip-hop community since its release last week.
