Actor Kim Soo-hyun, 36, has denied recent dating rumors involving actress Kim Sae-ron, 24. The rumors began after a photo of the two actors cheek-to-cheek was briefly posted on social media and then deleted. Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, swiftly addressed the speculation, stating that the dating rumors were "entirely groundless."
In a statement, Gold Medalist clarified that the photo in question was likely taken when both actors were under the same management. The agency expressed confusion over the motives behind Kim Sae-ron's decision to post and remove the photo, emphasizing that the rumors were baseless.
The agency also warned against spreading false information and stated that they would take legal action against any defamation or offensive posts. They urged the public to refrain from engaging in baseless rumors and speculative content.
Kim Sae-ron had previously paused her entertainment activities following a DUI incident in Seoul's Gangnam District in May 2022. She was fined 20 million won by the Seoul Central District Court in April 2023 for driving under the influence and causing multiple collisions before crashing into an electricity delivery point.
