Nollywood actor Alesh Sanni has criticized his colleagues for snubbing Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, following his imprisonment.
Reports indicate that Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos sentenced Bobrisky to six months in jail without the option of a fine after convicting him of Naira mutilation. Bobrisky was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged money laundering and Naira abuse.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Alesh expressed his disappointment, stating that Nigerian celebrities are hypocritical. He highlighted that despite Bobrisky's controversial lifestyle, celebrities often invite him to parties and use his platform for promotion.
