Belgian club KAA Gent is set to receive a higher transfer fee for striker Gift Orban than initially reported, according to Het Laatste Nieuws. Ligue 1 club Lyon is now expected to pay 15 Million Euros for the 21-year-old, along with an additional five Million Euros in bonuses.
In a significant profit for Gent, the club is also entitled to 20% of any subsequent transfer fee for the player. This marks a substantial gain from the 3.3 Million Euros invested in Orban, acquired from the Norwegian second division just a year ago.
Additionally, Gent received 22 Million Euros from Lyon for Malick Fofana in this transfer window.
