Gift Orban's Hunger for Goals Drives His Success

Super Eagles striker Gift Orban attributes his success to his relentless hunger for scoring goals. The 21-year-old has experienced a remarkable rise in his career, particularly highlighted by his recent move to French Ligue 1 side Lyon from Belgian club Gent.

Orban gained recognition last year when he joined Gent from Norwegian second-division side FC Stabaek, scoring 15 goals in 16 appearances in the second half of the season. Despite a slow start to the current season with Gent, Orban's impressive performances earned him a €12 million transfer to Lyon.

Orban's passion for scoring goals has been evident since childhood, where he focused solely on putting the ball into the net. This drive has been a significant factor in his career, helping him overcome challenges and seize opportunities.

The young striker acknowledges the challenges of adapting to professional football but remains optimistic about his future at Lyon, despite yet to find the net in seven league games.

Orban's determination and goal-scoring prowess have been crucial in his journey so far, and he remains focused on making a positive impact at Lyon as the season progresses.
